Nyack HospitalLast month one of Columbia University’s affiliated medical centers, Nyack hospital in Nyack, New York, hosted their Ninth Annual Trauma Conference and two of our neurosurgeons, Dr. W. Christopher Fox and Dr.William S. Cobb, were invited speakers.

“Speaking at the Nyack Hospital Trauma Conference was a great opportunity to share and discuss the current management of traumatic brain injury and concussion with first responders, nurses and doctors,” said Dr. Fox. “With the management of brain injury changing relatively quickly as our understanding grows, it is vital for our patients that the medical community stay up to date.”

Dr. Fox gave a talk on the evidence-based management of concussion and traumatic brain injury, and Dr. Cobb discussed the management of acute spinal cord injury.

The two-day program was titled Trends With Trauma Junkies.
