What an honor! Dr. Anthony D’Ambrosio received a glowing letter of thanks from the Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie. This August was Neurosurgery Outreach Month and Dr. D’Ambrosio dedicated himself to helping prevent concussions and spinal injuries as children return to sports this Fall.
Dr. D’Ambrosio’s public outreach was noticed by Governor Christy and he expressed his appreciation in the letter below:
Dear Dr. D’Ambrosio,
In honor of Neurosurgery Outreach Month, I am pleased to recognize your efforts to help improve the health of our neighbors, friends and loved ones. By raising awareness of the risks of spinal cord injuries and concussions, we can help ensure the safety and well being of countless New Jersey residents.
As a neurosurgeon, you have made valuable contributions to the health of our communities. Your noble efforts to prevent injuries associated with contact sports and other activities are a testament to your strong character and dedication to your patients. Because of you, New Jersey residents continue to receive the care they need.
On behalf of the people of the State of New Jersey, thank you for all that you do. It is an honor to serve as your Governor.
Sincerely,
Chris Christie
