Dr.Ty OlsonNeurosurgeon, Dr. Ty Olson recently received a letter from Dr. Frank J. Vozos, President and CEO of Monmouth Medical Center, thanking him for the excellent care he gave their patient, Gloria Tanala. Dr. Olson had successfully removed her brain tumor. Ms. Tanala’s daughter was so grateful to Dr. Olson that she sung his praises to the CEO of Monmouth Medical Center, which prompted him to write this letter:

Dear Dr. Olson: The attached letter came from Lynda Stroller regarding the care her mother received while a patient at Monmouth Medical Center.

“The care she received by Dr. Olsen, his staff and all the nurses in the day stay unit, as well as the Todd East, the ICU unit and now at Health South are to be commended and recognized. Dr. Olsen presented both the good and bad facts of the surgery with an upbeat and hopeful manner. His presence before the operation and the re-assurance we received from the assisting operating room nurses was comforting. We were kept informed as to the progress of the operation and Dr. Olson personally called me with the details of the operation and to state that it was a success.”

I would like to thank you personally for a job well done and for leaving Mrs. Stoller with such a positive impression of Monmouth Medical Center. Frank J. Vozos, M.D., FACS, President and CEO Monmouth Medical Center
