Dr. William S. Cobb, Dr. Chad DeYoung, and Dr. Anthony L. D’Ambrosio

More than 30 medical professionals got to hear about the latest developments in Gamma Knife technology over a delicious dinner at The Brick House Restaurant in Wyckoff, NJ on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

The dinner was sponsored by The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Dr. Anthony L. D’Ambrosio and Dr. William S. Cobb presented a talk titled Stereotactic Radiosurgery of the Brain and Spine: Precise Durable Tumor Treatment Without an Incision in the Outpatient Setting.

During Dr. Cobb‘s part of the presentation, he discussed the treatment options available for brain tumors with the Gamma Knife. Dr. D’Ambrosio talked about treatment options for trigeminal neuralgia, and he shared some statistics about Gamma Knife Radiosurgery outcomes.

Dr. D’Ambrosio is the co-director of The Valley Gamma Knife Center and the Director of Neuro-Oncology Disease Management Team. In addition to Gamma Knife technology, Dr. D’Ambrosio is also well-versed in several other state-of-the-art methods, such as frameless image-guided systems, and awake craniotomy.

Dr. Cobb is the Subspecialty director of Neurosurgical Oncology at Valley Hospital, and specializes in using stereotactic radiosurgery in the treatment of brain tumors and spinal tumors. Dr. Cobb also has experience with minimally invasive methods to treat degenerative spinal disorders and intervertebral disc disease.
