Dr. Richard Anderson spoke to his neurosurgical colleagues at the recent meeting of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons in Chicago. His lecture was entitled, Anterior and Posterior Fusion Strategies of the Pediatric Spine.
“Children are not just miniature adults,” says Dr. Anderson. “While much of the surgical treatments given to injured adults can be adapted to children, their unique anatomy and function needs special consideration.”
