Dr. Anthony L. D’Ambrosio
As the director of the Ridgewood practice, Dr. Anthony L. D’Ambrosio has helped develop Columbia Neurosurgery excellence in northern New Jersey.
Dr. D’Ambrosio is the Director of Neurosurgery and Co-Director of the Gamma Knife Program at the Blumenthal Cancer Center of The Valley Hospital.
This talent for leadership, paired with his skill as a surgeon has earned Dr. D’Ambrosio the respect of his peers, an honor reflected in his nomination and selection as a ‘Top Doctor’ in the June 2015 edition of (201) Health Magazine.
As part of the selection process, Dr. D’Ambosio was nominated by fellow health professionals as well as independent research and a panel review process.
Dr. D’Ambrosio’s areas of focus include the treatment of brain tumors, skull base tumors, meningiomas, acoustic neuromas, pituitary tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, and hemifacial spasm.
He has special expertise in the implementation of cutting-edge technology such as frameless image guidance systems, awake craniotomy, fluorescein guided tumor resection, and Gamma Knife Radiosurgery .
