Dr. Richard Anderson will be spending the last week in January in Costa Rica at the 37th annual meeting of the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons (ASPN).
Dr. Anderson has long been dedicated to advancing the care of children with problems at the craniovertebral junction, a complicated area where the skull and the spine meet. He is a founding member of the Pediatric Craniocervical Society.
Dr. Anderson will be lecturing at the conference on a multi-institutional collaborative project regarding the Long-term Effects of Rigid Instrumentation and Fusion at the Craniovertebral Junction in Young Children.
