Our doctors enjoyed a beautiful sunny day in October at the Manasquan River Golf Club and proceeds from the event went to benefit family support programs offered by the David Zocchi Brain Tumor Center at Monmouth Medical Center. Also during the event, Dr. David Estin was introduced as the new Surgical Director of this Center.
The Brain Tumor Center has been part of the Leon Hess Cancer Center at Monmouth Medical Center since 2007. It was opened two years after the untimely death of David Zocchi, who fought valiantly against brain cancer for six years.
