Dr. Anthony D’Ambrosio was a guest speaker recently for the annual Women for Health Spring Luncheon. Nearly 200 members and friends of the group joined together to celebrate money raised last year for the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
Sponsored by The Valley Hospital Foundation, “Women For Health is a special group of women donors who want to make a difference in medicine at The Valley Hospital and Valley Home Care. Pooling their social and philanthropic resources, members individually commit to a two-year gift commitment of $1,000 per year.” In 2012, they donated $60,000 to The Valley Hospital.
Dr. D’Ambrosio is Director of Neurosurgery, Director of the Neuro-Oncology Disease Management Team and Co-Director of the Gamma Knife Center at The Valley Hospital and every year he speaks at a variety of events both for community outreach and for professional development on behalf of the hospital.
