If you have kept up with our postings about Dr. Richard Anderson, you will know that taking care of kids with disorders of the spine is one of his particular talents. He is commonly asked to present his expertise on the subject to his peers and neurosurgery residents across the country and internationally too (see our blogs below).

He recently stepped up to the plate again at the 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). There he was a panelist, and faculty for two courses on the pediatric spine; he was a panelist for a course on “Management of Acute Spinal Cord Injury” and faculty at a hands-on session that focused on the “Surgical Approaches for Cranio-Cervical and C1C2 Stabilization Techniques.”
