Dr. Gaetan Moise, a neurosurgeon here at the Columbia Neurosurgery Network–NJ, deserves a big shoutout: he just passed his Neurological Surgery Boards with flying colors!
Dr. Moise is our latest physician to hold the illustrious title of “Board Certified Neurosurgeon.” That is no small feat; it took seven long years of neurosurgical residency, hours of preparation, and passing rigorous written and oral examinations by The American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Moise earned his medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons and then completed his residency training at Columbia University Neurological Institute of New York. Today he is based in our Northern New Jersey practice out of Ridgewood.
In his practice, Dr. Moise specializes in cerebrovascular disease including aneurysms and arterio-venous malformations; benign tumors of the brain and spine including meningiomas and schwannomas; degenerative spine disease; intervertebral disc disease; hydrocephalus; and neuro-trauma.
