Dr. David Estin from the Columbia Neurosurgery Network–NJ, is an avid runner. He runs for fitness and he runs for the love of it. Even better is when he gets to run in an exotic destination–like Costa Rica.
This fall, Dr. Estin was invited down to the tropical paradise to visit friends, and to run in the Tamarindo Beach 1/2 Marathon.
“We have been friends with Galit and her husband here in New Jersey for several years,” says Dr. Estin. “Galit and I have both run marathons before and we trained together over the summer. She and her husband have a vacation house in Costa Rica, so she invited us to come down and run this half marathon with her. We had a terrific time.”
