Although this is a problem in the neck it can affect your whole body, including numbness in the hands and balance problems.

Dr. Michael Kaiser, Associate Director of the The Spine Hospital at the Neurological Institute of New York,  is an internationally- recognized expert in treating cervical spondylotic myelopathy.

He recently directed a practical course in which he taught students and fellow neurosurgeons about how best to use the latest surgical techniques to help patients with the disorder.
